"Where's the cookies and s*&t??" - Bernie Mac (10/05/1957 - 10/09/2008)
American comedian Bernie Mac passed away on August 9th, 2008 from pneomonia. The actor/comedian was only 50 years old. My earliest recollection of Bernie Mac came when I first saw Above The Rim, a film in which Bernie played the character Flip, a homeless dude who often tried to play ball with the main character Kyle Watson. Flip eventually gets slayed by Birdie (Tupac Shakur).
He was also one of the funnier comedians in The Original Kings of Comedy, which also starred other comedians such as Steve Harvey, DL Hughley, and Cedric the Entertainer.

American soul singer Isaac Hayes (10/1942 - 10/2008) was found dead in his home in Tennessee a few days ago. The cause of the death is still unknown but physicians believe that it might be related to a stroke that he had a couple of years ago.
